WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Develop, implement and optimize the local manufacturing and operations strategy: lean production, manufacturing and internal logistic, warehousing procedures & technologies
- Lead, train, and develop the management team of operations: coordinating resources, reporting, resolving issues, ensuring appropriate operation support is provided as needed to the individual programs / projects
- Development, implementation and maintenance of business processes in the existing SAP system, including training of employees
- Optimize quality standards, procurements support
- Ensures capabilities and skill-set of staff meets program schedules and quality on all supplied items
- Proactive operations-network engagement and partnering with peers in Engineering , Procurement, Program, Quality, Programs, Property and infrastructure to support the business unit strategies to optimize new and given manufacturing, operations solutions, guidelines
- Single point of contact for the business unit and Rheinmetall Hungary Zrt. leadership in tasks such as status of operations and manufacturing activities
- Manages the department budget
- Develop, assess, monitor and report key performance indicators
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Minimum Bachelor degree of Production Technologies – Manufacturing, or Logistics or comparable study, alternatively e.g. profound working experience international Defence or Aviation Manufacturing or Service industry
- 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing and + 5 years of leadership experience
- Knowledge in Material technology, Manufacturing methods and latest manufacturing technologies in comparable field of industry – e.g. Automotive, earth-mover Technologies, mobile cranes , Aviation
- SAP S/4HANA and MS Office user level. Communication tools, like Teams, Webex, HCL Notes knowledge an advantage
- Strong executive communication, reporting and presentation skills
- Recognize obstacles and implement solutions to drive positive result
- Manufacturing negotiation, relationship management skills within the Opertions Network and Contract negotiation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects with attention to details
- High degree of confidentiality and ethics
- Strong analytical skills
- Hungarian and English mandatory, German preferred
